Time Traveler of Sergei Ponomarenko
Though there have been many recent claims on TikTok from people claiming to be from the future, nothing compares to Sergei Ponomarenko’s narrative regarding sheer craziness.
Or is it?
The story revolves around a man who appeared in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2006 and claimed to be from a bygone era — one of the most notorious cases of its sort.
He told the authorities that he was born in 1932. He looked at the part, carrying an old-fashioned camera and a dated outfit.
The most convincing thing was that he was carrying a 1950s Soviet paper that he said verified his age of twenty-five- something like a birth certificate, a passport, or an ID.
The most compelling aspect was that he claimed to have a Soviet document from the 1950s, which attested to his twenty-five years of age.
Then Ponomarenko started displaying images he said he had captured with his camera in Kiev. Authorities discovered that, once they had been developed, the photos actually depicted Kyiv in the 1950s, along with him and an unidentified woman. Ponomarenko also claimed that one of the photos showed a UFO.
Could he travel by UFO?
Strange as it may seem, the mystery may have finally been solved after all these years.
