Tiffany Gomas: I think We Are Not Alone
Tiffany Gomas, the creator of the wildly popular TikTok video that went viral this summer, is giving her side of the tale.
Gomas was captured on video charging to the front of the aircraft and pointing at a fellow traveler, shouting, “That person back there is not real.” On an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Orlando, the video was captured.
Her claim that the outburst was “not real” quickly rose to prominence as the most quoted — and puzzling — quote from it. Gomas said that the explosion was the result of a “spiraling out of control” “altercation” with another passenger when he appeared on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast on Friday.
The podcast’s hosts, Big Cat & PFT Commenter, asked Gomas what she saw that made her believe the other passenger wasn’t real.
“You know, the reason I probably haven’t come out yet, ’cause it’s like so cringe — I did not see anything,” Gomas said. She said the comment came at the tail end of an argument with another passenger and that she was using it as “an expression of speech.”
Maybe she blacked out and doesn’t remember what happened.
