They’re Here: Aliens Abducting People
Dave Rivera, a Scarsdale, New York resident, observed a UFO in 2021. While meditating at the playground outside his apartment building, Rivera spotted an unexplained ball in the sky that didn’t move like a drone or a plane, didn’t have a propeller, seemed to teleport, and occasionally shone a bright light. The young man was stunned, pulled out his phone, and recorded the incident. A local TV news affiliate quickly picked up his tale, which Rivera tells one of his numerous clients at the car wash where he works.
Rivera then forwarded his video to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) to ascertain the exact nature of what he had seen. Rivera is still adamant that he experienced a close encounter of the third kind.
These are the questionable tales told in the documentary Their Here, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this year. The film follows a group of eccentric New Yorkers who say they have witnessed UFOs or been abducted by aliens.
