What’s underneath the ground of Hoia Baciu Forest

Hoia Baciu Forest is located close to Cluj-Napoca in Transylvania, Romania. This deep woodland is situated on an approximate 250-hectare expanse and is renowned for its peculiar and inexplicable occurrences. Because of how eerie it is, the forest is frequently called the Transylvanian Bermuda Triangle.

Notably, the forest got its name from a shepherd who vanished into the forest with his flock of about 200 sheep. Now hear this: the forest’s reputation wasn’t earned by that. The location didn’t become well-known worldwide until a military technician named Emil Barnea took pictures of what he claimed to be a UFO hovering over a specific forest area. The Clearing is the current name for that specific area of forest.

The Clearing is different from your typical place to visit. It’s eerie that nothing grows in this specific area of the forest. Around this oval area of the ground, it appears as though no more trees or vegetation are sprouting.
