The Ghost Who Loves Classical Music
Chad Lawson, an American pianist, was performing a sound check for a live episode of the Lore Podcast on stage at the Paramount Theatre in Austin.
Like most musicians, he took a few photos of his instrument in the empty concert hall after the soundcheck was over for social media. Then, he posted a picture to Instagram, which appeared to be a typical gig in a beautiful location.
However, Lawson checked his pictures when he returned to his hotel. I quickly snapped three photos from the stage to share, he said. Someone in the mezzanine is seen in the picture.
“Noticing it, I looked at the first and third pics, and the person is absent.”
Fearing the worse, Lawson looked up “ghosts Paramount Theatre, Austin” online and discovered that Austin TV network KVUE’s Natalie Groves had previously written about the theater’s eerie reputation.
People claimed to have seen a woman wandering the aisles on the Mezzanine floor while wearing a white dress, she stated in 2014.
Lawson has also made public the three images of the figure he claims to have captured on the stage in fast succession.
Composer/pianist Chad Lawson frequently incorporates jazz improvisation, looping piano, and effects into his productions.
His Chopin Variations reached the top of the US classical music charts, and several movies have featured his music. Additionally, he wrote the soundtrack for the podcast Lore, which studies the origins of folklore.
