A woman went viral after capturing her boyfriend’s actions while she dozed off in a car.

Hugrun Hannesdottir, 27, uploaded a video of herself in a dark car on TikTok on May 29. She captioned the video, “I went napping, and I just woke up.” And this was done by my lover.” After that, the video cuts to a dashboard screen featuring a cartoon dog and the warning, “My driver will be back soon.” Be at ease! It’s 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and the heater is on.”

The video, in which the Icelandic-born American Hannesdottir humorously explains, ‘He put me on dog mode,’ has garnered over 900,000 likes and 3.7 million views, making it a viral sensation.

The TikToker told Newsweek: “He told me afterward it was to ensure the air quality and temperature in the car was nice, but he was also making fun since there is a keep mode, which is similar without the dog on the screen.”

For those concerned about the safety of a dog left in a locked car, the ‘dog mode’ feature in Tesla cars assures that the pet is secure and in a suitable temperature.
