Stuck in the Bathroom at 42,000 feet during an international flight
A woman spent five hours in an airplane bathroom after learning she tested positive for COVID-19 mid-flight.
On Dec 20, a teacher from Chicago, Maris Fotieo, revealed in a TikTok video that she had a sore throat while flying to Iceland from Newark International airport.
She tested positive for Coronavirus when she took a self-test.
Can you do this? Take a self-test COVID test on an airplane? She had a sore throat and that caused her to have COVID.
The crew decided that Fatieo would spend the remainder of the flight in the restroom after speaking with an Icelandair flight attendant.
Being stuck in the bathroom for hours would have been awkward. What if someone needed to use the bathroom? You can’t go outside because you are at 42,000 feet in the air. Your secretion would be a slap in the face; either it could be a number 1 or number 2.
Or it might look like a UFO-shaped thing flying crashing toward the earth, and it is not a meteorite. And hits a person on the head, and it is not Nutella!
I wonder if aliens can poop.
She was taken care of by the flight attendants. They were polite and nice to her, making sure that she was ok. They put her at ease.
When she landed, the flight attendant who helped Fotieo sent her a care package with food and gifts for a 10- day isolation.
So how was your day?
