Shadow Aliens in Miami
A big fight between teens turned chaotic on Monday night at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. But others on social media say what happened next was much more… alien.
There were speculations on Twitter and other social media platforms that night, when the brawl attracted a significant police presence, that the officers were not there to deal with a group of unruly teenagers but rather “8–10ft tall shadow aliens.”
Or it could be Shadow Ace from America’s Got Talent making shadow aliens on the wall and scaring the people.
Amateur footage uploaded online shows a large “creature” occasionally standing in front of the mall’s entrance. This prompted several conspiracy theorists to share their theories about what happened that Monday night.
For formal remarks regarding the conspiracy and rumors, CBS News Miami has contacted the City of Miami Police. Reiterating the facts of the fight involving fifty young people, Officer Michael Vega said, “There were no ETs, UFOs, or aliens there. The words “No airport closures, no power outages” were accompanied by an emoji of a facepalm.
