Robodog to the rescue

If you haven’t heard, the San Francisco Police Department will enable law enforcement to use robots to kill suspects. Experts claim that this concept represents a turning point in the employment of remotely piloted robots.

Where would they get this idea from? Does anyone remember Robocop (1987)? If you have yet to see the movie. Please check it out.

The decision to arm robots with guns has already drawn harsh criticism from the general public. One continuing legal dispute involves a robot business that outfitted one of its robot dogs with a machine gun.

Robot dogs? Right. What the Freak? So, if you throw a gun at a robodog. It will catch it. Right? The robodogs will carry guns to kill. But no taser. They want to catch criminals, read their rights, and put them away in jail. Suppose it is overcrowding in the jail. Put the criminals in a solitary prison that is haunted. It will scare the prisoner half to death. And they will not commit the crime ever again.

According to the plan, the new regulation would allow remote-controlled robots to deal with the fatal blow, but only in specific situations.
