Peg Entwistle Haunts the Hollywood Sign
It was 1988 when Tina, a 16-year-old working at USC, and Alain, a 20-year-old college student and among his friends Brian. During which time they became close friends. Tina was the youngest, and Alain was always looking after her.
They will never forget the night they had in Los Angeles, Hollywood.
After watching a baseball game at Dodger Stadium, the group decided to cause some mischief. Then Brian suggested they walk up the hill and touch the Hollywood sign.
“When you’re that age, you always want to do something that is very nutty!” Brian recalls.
Although Tina and Al were enthusiastic about it, Alain wasn’t too excited; however, he joined anyway. After driving down Sunset Blvd in two different cars, the group walked up to the sign they had seen for all their lives. All vehicles parked at the bottom of the hill at the same dead end. A sign marked the chain-link fence with a “No Trespassing” sign.
However, Brian and the rest of the group knew it was wrong, making it more enticing. Eventually, the boys climbed over the fence. However, because of her fear of heights, Tina would not climb the fence. In this way, the boys can let Tina through the fence. By lifting the bottom part of the fence, she crawled through.
