Mount Shasta and the Missing People Never Been Found

According to a well-known tale, Telos, the historic “City of Light” for the Lemurians, is a network of tunnels located beneath Northern California’s 14,179-foot-tall Mount Shasta. They were the inhabitants of Lemuria, the legendary lost continent submerged by the Pacific (or Indian, depending on who you ask) waves thousands of years ago. Lemurians who are thought to have survived the catastrophe are said to have made Telos their home. A few reports have been made over the years of their offspring wandering the neighborhood. They are described as being seven feet tall with long, flowing hair and frequently wear sandals and white robes.

Mount Shasta, a stand-alone stratovolcano located 60 miles south of the Oregon border, is not only believed to be a home for the Lemurians but also the Lizard People, reptilian humanoids said to reside underground. In addition, the mountain has a reputation for UFO sightings and is linked to various otherworldly, paranormal, and mythical beings. As a result, Mount Shasta has become popular among followers, including prominent figures like Joaquin Miller and John Muir, and fringe religious groups like the Ascended Masters. The mountain’s allure to these beliefs is a mystery, but it has drawn in many followers over the years.
