Over 40 mischievous rhesus macaque monkeys have staged a whimsical escape from an Alpha Genesis research facility in Beaufort County, South Carolina. These cheeky little escape artists have been up to monkey business, leaving authorities scrambling and citizens doubling down on door locks.

Just imagine it! Like a scene straight out of a terrifying movie, 43 primate pranksters leaped to freedom, prompting a full-scale operation involving traps, thermal imaging cameras, and lots of bananas.
