Kelly Cahill UFO Abduction
On August 7, 1993, Kelly Cahill saw a UFO and beings from another world.
Ms. Cahill’s case, described in her 1996 book Encounter, featured all the defining characteristics of the time’s most famous alien abduction tale: lost time, odd spacecraft, brilliant lights, inhuman creatures, and unexplainable marks on her body.
But unlike other alien encounters, her story had independent witnesses who might be able to corroborate it.
There were supposedly four additional persons in two other automobiles who could corroborate her paranormal allegations, in addition to her then-husband Andrew, who was in the car with her on that fateful night on Melbourne’s south-eastern outskirts.
Due to its numerous witnesses, the incident was praised as the “holy grail” of extraterrestrial abduction claims by UFO researchers and enthusiasts.
It could offer conclusive evidence, once and for all, that the truth existed. Even an episode of the classic TV program The X-Files mentioned the case.
The additional witnesses were never identified publicly, a thorough investigation into the allegations was never made public, and Ms. Cahill vanished.
Was her ‘encounter,’ therefore, a squandered chance or perhaps a UFO hoax?
