The clip, reportedly captured by an MQ-9 Reaper drone near Yemen on October 30, 2024, was played during a House transparency hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). Rep. Eric Burlison introduced the footage, which shows radar and electro-optical views of a bright sphere and what looks like a direct intercept attempt. Veteran journalists and military witnesses, including George Knapp, former USAF officer Jeffrey Nuccetelli, and Dylan Borland, pointed to other baffling incidents — such as the so-called “red square” seen over Vandenberg and a massive silent triangle sighted near Langley.
