Haunted Roosevelt High School
In 1925, Roosevelt High School in St Louis, Missouri, opened a cemetery for the building site after two years of construction and evacuation. The school sits upon a gravesite and is supposedly haunted. Some of the mass graves and cemeteries are still under the school. Neighbors reported that dogs and children brought home bones as souvenirs to their homes.
The Violence
In the 1990s, the school had many discipline problems; motivational speakers like Montel Williams and Ice-t encouraged students to stay off the streets and remain in school. However, do they listen? Not they want to do what they want to do. A week after his visit, a 16-year-old student shot at another student on the building’s first level despite his presence. That was the problem. The students came from low-income families.
A first-year student at Roosevelt School assaulted a teacher in the face in October 1995. The instructor then received minor injuries when the kid hurled a computer monitor at him. A student hit a school security guard in the cafeteria in February 1996 of the same academic year. The guard then sustained injuries when the kid attacked him with an orange. The following year, in October 1996, two female students were stabbed at Roosevelt during a brawl involving many other students. Administrators were baffled about how the students could get their…
