Eloise Psychiatric Hospital: You will check in, but will you check out?

In 1839, Eloise Asylum was established as a poorhouse before becoming an essential public healthcare institution. In 1841, Bridget “Biddy” Hughes became the asylum’s first patient. Until she died in 1895, she lived there.
Building D, the Kay Beard Building, was constructed in 1931 and held 409 patients.

At Eloise, psychiatric treatment came to an end in 1979. Then, in 1984, the general hospital was shut down.
Numerous treatments for mental illness were developed at the psychiatric facility, including electroshock therapy, insulin shock therapy, television therapy, recreational therapy, music therapy, and occupational therapy.

Many paranormal teams and crews have visited the place, and what they caught was shocking to discover. It brought them to insanity. Some have spent the night, and what they witnessed was truly scary.
The patients who died wanted to talk to the living.
The staff who died wanted to continue their operations on the living.
