Did a UFO crash in Lake Huron in Canada?

As you may know, on February 12, 2023, a US F-16 fighter jet shot two missiles at the object, causing it to fall into Lake Huron, close to Ontario. The object was described as having eight sides and strings on one side.
After the accident, an extensive search operation started to find the remains. The Canadian police worked with the United States and Canada Coast Guards, using modern tools and resources to find the wreckage.
Yet, the bad weather made the teams stop looking after a short time. This first abandonment led to rumors, especially when news came out weeks later that some items, like a “module,” had been found at the location.
The found module was made by a company that focuses on weather monitoring devices, but it is unclear how it relates to the object that crashed. Investigators could not definitively establish if it came from the wreckage or if it was just random debris found during the search.
“It will be examined to see if there is anything strange about it, but I don’t think so because of its size,” a high-ranking RCMP member wrote in an email to a Canadian military brigadier-general, raising more questions about its importance. The email also mentioned, “It is unclear if it was caused by being shot down.”
Later, an RCMP spokesperson confirmed that some objects had been found on the shores of Lake Huron but did not reveal any details about what was found.
“The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has confirmed that objects were found on the shores of Lake Huron. We are working closely with our partners from Canada and other countries to advance the investigation,” a spokesperson informed CTVNews.ca. “As the investigation is still happening, we cannot give more information right now.”
Many people doubt the official story because there are no clear answers. Some say the reason for the secrecy is that the object is not very interesting.
If it had been a regular weather balloon or something like that, the military’s strong reaction — shooting two missiles and using many resources — might seem like an expensive and embarrassing exaggeration. This discovery could clarify why some are trying to make the incident seem less critical.
