If you haven’t heard about Cocaine bear. In that case, this is a movie about a Black bear that consumes several bags of cocaine that were unintentionally airdropped into woodland in Georgia during a failed smuggling attempt. As a result, the bear goes on a killing spree, causing havoc among the locals, driven by drug-induced anger and a craving for more cocaine. In the meantime, the drug traffickers — led by the late Ray Liotta (1954 -2022) in his final performance — search the forest for their missing cargo without realizing they risk becoming food for bears.

The ripped-up remains of cocaine bundles were found in Georgia’s Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in 1985 by detectives looking for drugs dropped by an aerial smuggler. Every 40 shipments reportedly contained one kilogram of cocaine, totaling 88 pounds and an estimated $20 million in value at the time.
