An Alien Gave a Teenage girl a job.
In the summer of 1986, when Terry, a pretty young teenager at 16, experienced an event that remains etched in her memory as strange and eerie. Picture this: a typical hangout with friends at a local pizza parlor took an unexpected twist when a peculiar man approached their table, possibly in his 50s or 60s. He wore a neat suit and tie, looking entirely out of place in a casual setting.
The man’s proposal was simple yet odd. He offered Terry a summer job and asked if she wanted an interview. Eager to earn some extra money, she agreed without much thought, handing over her details so he could pick her up for the next day’s interview.
True to his word, the man arrived at her house. In hindsight, it was curious how at ease Terry and her mother were despite knowing nothing about this stranger — a reflection of how easily trust was bestowed in those days. As Terry got into the car, a sense of unease began to creep over her.
This was no ordinary job interview. As they drove, the man began revealing intimate details of Terry’s life — things she couldn’t fathom how he knew. He mentioned her feelings about her father’s absence and noted her previous residence with her grandparents. Despite her inquiries, he stated that he knew her.
