The elderly woman who called every week without fail was the regular. In less than ten minutes, her order — which the pizza place knew by heart — was prepared. Without further thinking, the driver set out on the little journey.
However, as soon as he arrived, he discovered an ambulance parked outside the house. Perhaps he thought his client had suffered a small injury or had fallen. He went to the door carrying the pizza and rang the bell, expecting his normal cordial greeting.
