A UFO in Turkey
According to turkiyetoday.com, pilots at Gaziantep Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, reported a bright UFO on Monday night, which led the airport to pause all flights.
At about 10:00 p.m. local time (GMT+3), pilots on board a plane saw a luminous, unexplained object between 8,000 and 10,000 feet in the sky.
An airport briefly went into turmoil after a UFO alarm was issued in Türkiye’s sixth-largest city. Gaziantep lies in southeastern Turkey, close to the border with Syria.
Air traffic control received a report about the item, but it did not appear on the radar. Therefore, planes were grounded as a safety measure.
Authorities investigated the area surrounding the airport after the suspension. Flights resumed about three hours after it was determined there was no imminent danger.
Investigators consider the idea that the object was a drone as they continue their investigations. Not a drone!
A thorough search was also launched in the area when pilots at Istanbul, Turkey’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport, received traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) warnings on January 29. However, the authorities remain unsure of the origin of these signals.
