A Spotted Alien Near the Rocky Mountains
Two female travelers, Jessee Clauson and Camille Avarella, set off on a 15-day climbing expedition in the Colorado Rocky Mountains’ Longs Peak region in August 2024.
Their typical social media posting practice of sharing pictures of beautiful scenery while climbing took an unexpected turn when they uploaded an odd picture that went viral immediately.
Initially, the image was meant to show off a stunning early-morning scene with a gray cloud looming over the mountain, but in the middle was odd: an odd, squiggly shape. This “squiggle” turned out to be a slender, humanoid-like figure that appeared to be hanging to the brink of a precipitous cliff when the photograph was magnified.
Standing in sharp contrast to the surrounding landscape, the figure was around twenty feet (6 meters) tall. Clauson and Avarella had taken other pictures, but nothing like this. The two were left perplexed, not knowing if what they had witnessed was paranormal or just a case of pareidolia.
