A Man Sees UFO 50 years ago when He was a Teenager.
Even today, many people who have witnessed strange occurrences are reluctant to discuss them with friends, family, or the media.
It is a very genuine worry to be branded by society as an alcohol abuser or even mentally sick person. When just a few researchers dared to address UFOs decades ago, seeing something unusual in the sky and discussing it nearly always resulted in years of derision.
This was the situation with Edinburgh resident Gordon Mackerracher, 67, who remained silent for 50 years following his close encounter with a sizable UFO. He decided to tell journalists what he had witnessed an encounter with a UFO many years ago.
Gordon claims he saw an odd flying object in the sky while he was seventeen and strolling down a road in the West Lothian, Scotland, countryside.
It was a van-sized object with a metallic appearance and a cone-like shape. Gordon watched it slowly fade and then ran to the nearest phone booth to notify the military or the airport. It wasn’t a helicopter or an airplane.
